Appointments
If your appointment is a URGENT medical emergency, please hang up the phone and dial 999
ALL TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT'S INCLUDING VIDEO CONSULTATIONS ARE WITH THE DOCTOR/NURSE - THEY WILL THEN DECIDE IF THEY NEEDS TO EXAMINE YOU AND ASK YOU TO COME DOWN AT A SPECIFIC TIME.
If you feel you need to be seen, the doctor will decide after speaking to you. Please do not blame the receptionist, who is acting on the doctor's instructions, we have a zero tolerance policy in regards to abusive patients, and this will not be tolerated.
Routine Appointments:
These will be dealt with within 24 hrs - routine appointments will be triaged the same as all other appointments - if your call is URGENT please dial 999.
Consultations are by appointment and can be made in person, over the telephone and online.
If you wish to have a telephone consultation, please telephone the surgery on 0161 413 0709 and leave your name, telephone number and a few details of what the problem is and the doctor will call you back.
Practice Nurses
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.
